Always Forward Special Needs Life Coaching

Partnering with your family to create an environment of health, dignity through self-expression, and continuous forward progress for your loved-one with special needs.

It is with great honor that I welcome you to the first installment of the Always Forward Life Coaching newsletter!
The purpose of this newsletter is to open a space for ongoing information about my new endeavor, Always Forward Life Coaching.  Let me start by explaining how I became interested in becoming a Special Needs Life Quality Coach.
As an experienced instructor of students with special needs, I have noticed that most of my work in schools is focused on behavioral therapy, academic progress, and vocational skill-building.  Though these areas are of absolute importance in terms of special education, this new endeavor is about something more.  I believe that true quality of life is built upon opportunity to make forward progress, and that those with special needs deserve every opportunity possible to explore things that can lead to a better quality of life.
I want to work with you and your family to identify areas in which you would like to see improvement in the life of your loved one with special needs. The areas we choose to focus on could include (but are not limited to) health, wellness, fitness, spirituality, friendships, hobby pursuit, smooth transitions, social skill-building, and self-expression. Each person or family’s case will be handled on an individual level.  From there I will work with you to create and implement a unique action plan for your loved-one to live a more well-rounded complete life.
I can attest from personal experience that inevitable difficulties arise in caring for a person with special needs. I know how hard it can be to focus on the future when dealing with stress in the present.  This reality is an enormous part of why I decided to become a Certified Special Needs Life Quality Coach.  I look forward to working with your family to ease some of the burden in the short term, while helping you make steps toward life quality in the long term.
Feel free to contact me with questions, suggestions, or recommendations of people who may be interested in my services.  Getting to know each other is always free so I’d be happy to do a consultation to help you decide if a life coach is the right step for you and your family.
Every month look back for a new newsletter with information, testimonials, pictures, and updates about my coaching services!
Always forward,
Kathryn
